PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER MEMBANGUN SISWA YANG BERADAB DI SDS WAWASAN NUSANTARA

Abstract

Character formation is a system of giving character values to school members, which consists of
elements of knowledge, awareness, or motivation and the means to implement these values.
Character formation is an educational research that is currently a trend. Many people from
various disciplines, from students, teachers, teachers to education professionals, never get tired
of discussing it. The lack of personality education in children is thought to affect the development
of various personality problems that harm others, such as corruption, student brawls, and
bribery. Existing education only covers the cognitive aspects of children, but all other aspects of
children, including emotional and psychomotor aspects, also need to be developed in a balanced
way. The next generation of the nation that will be formed is intended not only to have
intellectual intelligence, but also emotional and social intelligence. For this reason, the
government and education personnel are currently intensively socializing and reforming various
policies that are considered incompatible with personality formation, especially education
