ANALISIS KESALAHAN SISWA DALAM MENGERJAKAN SOAL MATEMATIKA SATUAN PANJANG PADA BIMBINGAN BELAJAR

Abstract


This study aims to determine the types of errors of students in the tutoring program for grade 3
and 4 students in working on long unit questions. This type of research is a qualitative research
with a descriptive method to explain the types of errors. The subjects of this study were 3
students taken from 9 students who were in BUMDes Serdang Wetan in the tutoring program.
During the pandemic, education was affected, especially education in villages. Online learning
and the low quality of education in the village are the background of the tutoring program for
the Serdang Wetan community. The tutoring program was attended by elementary school
children from various schools such as SDN Candu 1, SDN Serdang Wetan, and SD Kompel Api.
The results of the research on the types of errors by students in grades 3 and 4 at BUMDes
Serdang Wetan showed that there were factual errors, conceptual errors, principle errors, and
skill errors in working on unit length questions. Factors that influence the occurrence of errors
include: errors in converting/converting units of length, difficulties in students' arithmetic
operations ability, difficulties in understanding story questions, and learning constrained by
external factors.
