PENYULUHAN MENGENAI IoT FOR SMART BUILDING (STUDI KASUS KAMPUS GADING SERPONG UEU)

Abstract


Abstract
The development of technology is increasing rapidly. The progress of information technology, especially with the internet, is very helpful for humans in controlling electronic devices remotely. Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept in which certain objects have the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to computer interaction. Currently, the use of IoT technology is increasingly being used in many fields. One of them is in making software that supports Smart Building (Case Study: Gading Serpong International Campus) . The IoT system demonstrated at this extension is to automate control of electronic devices such as turning off lights, controlling the AC (Air Conditioner), and turning off the computer remotely with one dashboard display. By implementing IoT, it is hoped that the control of these electronic devices can be made easier and can be done remotely, and it can be seen which devices are still alive.

Abstrak
Perkembangan teknologi semakin pesat dari waktu ke waktu. Semakin berkembangnya teknologi informasi terutama dengan adanya internet, maka sangat membantu manusia dalam mengendalikan perangkat elektronik dari jarak jauh. Internet of Things (IoT) adalah suatu konsep dimana objek tertentu punya kemampuan untuk mentransfer data lewat jaringan tanpa memerlukan adanya interaksi dari manusia ke manusia ataupun dari manusia ke perangkat komputer. Saat ini penggunaan teknologi IoT semakin sering digunakan pada banyak bidang. Salah satunya dalam pembuatan perangkat lunak yang mendukung Smart Building dengan studi kasus Kampus Gading Serpong. Sistem IoT yang didemonstrasikan pada penyuluhan ini adalah untuk mengotomatisasi kendali perangkat elektronik seperti mematikan lampu, kontrol AC (Air Conditioner), dan mematikan komputer dari jarak jauh dengan satu tampilan dashboard. Dengan menerapkan IoT maka diharapkan kendali perangkat elektronik tersebut dapat dipermudah dan dapat dilakukan dari jarak jauh, serta dapat diketahui perangkat mana saja yang masih dalam keadaan hidup.
