KENDALA PEMBELAJARAN IPS PADA MASA PANDEMI

Abstract


There is currently a Covid-19 pandemic that has a significant impact on Indonesia's education
sector, the impact on the education sector is the implementation of school closures, and the
government is implementing online learning in transition, including primary schools. However,
there is a problem with its implementation. That is, there are obstacles and the results of the
learning process can be less than optimal. The purpose of the study was to explain the factors
that hinder IPS practice in primary schools in online learning. This research method is a
qualitative method that uses interviews and literature tracing. The results of this study are
factors that hinder the application of IPS for teachers in elementary schools, including internal
and external factors in the form of lack of flexibility in face-to-face meetings, and social
interaction. Such maturity, ethics, and morals are difficult to achieve in childhood. During this
pandemic, students were unable to observe directly, such as visiting museums or interviewing
caregivers for information about the subject. In addition, disability factors for students can be
reduced morale or lack of speed of learning due to the inability to directly address critical
problems. There are positives and negatives from various obstacles experienced by teachers,
students and parents when studying online in the Covid 19 pandemic. Such maturity, ethics, and
morals are difficult to achieve in childhood. During this pandemic, students were unable to
