STRATEGI GURU DALAM PEMBELAJARAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA BAGI SISWA KELAS VI DI SDN JATIRANGGA II BEKASI

Abstract


One of the most crucial language skills for elementary school pupils to master is speaking. To optimize the learning of speaking abilities, the teacher's plan is required, particularly for the sixth grade students of SDN Jatirangga II Bekasi. The purpose of this study is to explain the teacher's approach to teaching speaking skills. This is a qualitative study that use the descriptive approach. Interviews, observation, and documentation were used as data gathering strategies. Respondents in this study amounted to 20 students. The results of the study explain that the teacher's strategy in learning speaking skills is related to the use of contextual approaches, role playing learning models, storytelling methods, taking a communicative approach, and using interesting learning media. Some of these tactics will be beneficial to pupils since they can boost their confidence, courage, and motivation to learn how to communicate.
