Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on the education sector in Indonesia. One of
the impacts is that the world of education must close learning activities in classes, from
elementary schools to universities to avoid the spread of the virus. Educators must ensure that
teaching and learning activities continue, even though students are at home. The solution is that
educators are required to design learning media as innovations by utilizing online or online
media. This is in accordance with the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of
Indonesia regarding Circular Letter Number 4 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of
Education Policies in the Emergency Period for the Spread of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19).
System The online learning system is carried out online using the internet network. Educators
can do learning together at the same time using groups on social media such as WhatsApp,
telegram, google meet, zoom applications or other media as learning media. Thus, educators can ensure that students take part in learning at the same time, even though in different places.
Educators can also give measurable assignments in accordance with the objectives of the
material presented to students. In addition to network constraints and problems with supporting
technology facilities, there are obstacles experienced by parents. Obstacles experienced by
parents in accompanying children to study at home such as lack of understanding of the material in parents, so parents have difficulty in growing interest in children's learning, do not have enough time to accompany children because they have to work, parents are impatient in
accompanying children while studying at home , and the difficulty of parents in operating the
