Abstract


Mastery of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or better known as ICT
internationally, is very important in the current era of globalization, especially in the world
of education. In this day and age, teachers are required to have the ability to use technology.
Therefore, teachers must be able to apply technology into learning. By applying ICT the
learning process is easier and more enjoyable. The purpose of this research is to find out
how ICT is very important in the learning process and the extent to which teachers'
pedagogical abilities in implementing the ICT system in elementary schools. The research
method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a literature study. The conclusion of
this study is that the pedagogic competence of teachers in implementing ICT-based learning
in elementary schools is quite good. However, the school must often hold a training for
teachers in improving their competence. Especially for senior teachers because they are new
to using technology.
