PELATIHAN PRAKTEK MENTORING BAGI TEMAN SEBAYA OLEH REMAJA SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA TENTANG HIV/AIDS DAN INFEKSI MENULAR SEKSUAL KABUPATEN MANOKWARI

Abstract
Based on data from USAID, there were 36.9 million people from various countries living with HIV / AIDS in 2017. Of the total sufferers, children contributed 1.8 million and among them were under 15 years of age. The rest are adults, a total of 35.1 million sufferers. It is important to have mentoring training for junior high school students in an effort to improve adolescent health related to the promotion and education of adolescents about HIV / AIDS in the community, especially in providing information to friends, with this activity it can help adolescents provide information to their peers so that they can avoid HIV / AIDS. then action is taken before a more serious incident occurs. The aim of this training is to increase the knowledge and ability of junior high school adolescents' mindset and to be responsible for themselves and risky activities among adolescents about the importance of reproductive health, the ability to become a mentor for peers so that this ability can be used in an effective manner reciprocity in carrying out health education, especially HIV / AIDS, increasing self-reliance and optimizing the available resources in the junior high school environment, can guide training and provide lessons to peers, foster a habit of mentoring y effective among adolescents. the method used in mentoring training was the provision of material and classroom practice as mentoring with video playback lectures, leaflets, use of flipcharts, modules, practice and questions and answers as well as mentor presentations in front of the class as evaluation material

Abstrak
Berdasarkan data dari USAID, terdapat 36,9 juta masyarakat dari berbagai Negara hidup dengan HIV/AIDS pada 2017. Dari keseluruhan penderita, anak –anak menyumbang 1,8 juta dan diantaranya berusia dibawah 15 tahun. Selebihnya adalah orang dewasa, sejumlah 35,1 juta penderita. Penting adanya pelatihan mentoring bagi siswa SMP dalam upaya meningkatkan kesehatan remaja terkait promosi maupun edukasi remaja tentang HIV/AIDS di masyarakat terutama dalam memberikan informasi bagi teman, dengan kegiatan ini dapat membantu remaja dalam memberikan informasi bagi teman sebaya sehingga dapat terhindar dari penyakit HIV/AIDS maka dilakukan tindakan sebelum terjadi kejadian yang lebih serius.tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan pola pikir remaja SMP serta bertanggung jawab terhadap dirinya dan aktivitas berisiko dikalangan remaja tentang pentingnya kesehatan reproduksi, kemampuan menjadi mentor bagi teman sebaya sehingga kemampuan ini dapat digunakan secara timbale balik dalam melakukan pendidikan kesehatan terutama HIV/AIDS, meningkatkan kemandirian dan mengoptimalkan sumber daya yang tersedia dilingkungan sekolah menengah pertama, dapat membimbing melatih dan memberikan pelajaran kepada teman sebaya, menumbuhkan kebiasaan mentoring yang efektif dikalangan remaja.metode yang digunakan pelatihan mentoring berupa pemberian materi dan praktek dikelas sebagai mentoring dengan ceramah pemutaran video, leaflet, penggunaan kertas plano, modul, praktek dan Tanya jawab serta presentasi mentor di depan klas sebagai bahan evaluasi.
